The town of  Saugus is geographically divided North to South by the famous Route 1.  This 3-mile strip of highway is home to many popular retail stores, Square One Mall, many Famous restaurants & Regional Shopping Centers.

Saugus, Massachusetts is home of the historic Saugus Iron Works.  Saugus is a diverse community consisting of 10.99 square miles located approximately 13 miles North of the City of Boston.  Saugus had a population of   26,078 in 2000.
